Welcome to our team page! Join the ARBC Youth Group as we walk to raise awareness & bring clean water to communities in need through Walk for Water!
Millions of women and children walk more than three miles to collect water each day for their families. Often, the water collected is unsafe to drink. But there is hope. This year, we will be walking to raise awareness to help fight the global water crisis. Together, we will walk to bring clean, safe water to 14,000 people in need around the world.
We walk, so others don't have to.
What to expect on Walk Day -
“We will have plenty of fun and games for all ages. During the Walk, you’ll carry an empty bucket for approximately 1.5 miles. You will then fill it with water and walk about 1.5 miles back to Riverfront Park. Along the route, you’ll learn about the global water crisis and experience stories from those Water Mission serves. Once you complete the route, you will empty your bucket into a pool of water that will be treated by Water Mission’s Living Water Treatment System. This will clean the water and make it safe for all purposes.”

When? March 29, 2025. The walk begins at 9 am. Participants are encouraged to arrive around 8 am for the event kickoff!

Cost? Adults (ages 18+) $25, Children (ages 5-17) $10. This cost is set by Walk for Water & goes towards raising funds and awareness to help fight the global water crisis. All registered participants will receive a Walk for Water t-shirt. The smallest size available is a youth medium.
If you are not able to join us for the Walk for Water & are still hoping to contribute, you can donate through our page to help bring awareness & clean water to those in need around the world.
