The Walk is more than just a day. The Walk for Water program is a year-round program with events to help you engage your business, church, or team and stay involved all year.
We encourage you to attend the Walk by Faith: Prayer and Worship event on September 19. Refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m. Prayer and Worship will begin at 10 a.m. This is God’s work, and our preparation for the Walk begins by committing it to Him. In order to ensure that we have an accurate number of attendees, please complete the registration form below to reserve your spot at the event.
Walk Open House At the event on October 24, we'll share the vision and purpose of our annual Walk for Water in Charleston. You'll also have the opportunity to meet other Charleston area business leaders and spend time getting to know Water Mission staff. Refreshments will be provided, and we will host tours of Water Mission's facilities. We encourage you to dress business casual and to wear comfortable shoes as the tour does cover some warehouse space.
Team Captain Luncheon At the event on January 22, we will connect you with other team captains, share resources to raise awareness about the global water crisis, brainstorm ideas for generating interest and raising funds, and inspire you with stories from people whose lives have been transformed by safe water.
Walk Day
Join us for our big event on March 29 at Riverfront Park. Together, thousands of people will come together to bring clean, safe water to more than 14,000 people in need around the world. The event kicks off at 8 a.m. with games and activities for the family to enjoy, and the Walk begins at 9 a.m.
Walk Celebration This is an exclusive, invite-only event for our sponsors, champion team captains, and lead walkers on May 1, at Water Mission’s Global Headquarters. A reception will begin at 6 p.m., with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m. As a token of our gratitude for their support, guests will be presented with a small gift.
