What is the global water crisis?

* 2 billion people lack access to safe water. That is 1 to of 4 people across the world
* People who lack water, walk an average of 3+ miles to gather water that is usually unsafe
* Women around the world spend 200 million hours every day walking for water
* Children miss 443 million school days each year because of the global water crisis
* One person dies every 37 seconds from a water-related illness
* 50% of the hospital beds in developing countries are filled with people suffering from water-related illnesses

 This year, I will be walking to raise funds and awareness to help fight the global water crisis. I would love for you to join my team or make a donation to Water Mission. Water Mission has had projects in over 60 countries as well as the United States. They provided water and generators after Hurricane Helene. I have volunteered for Water Mission for 3 years and have witnessed first hand that they live by their pledge to be guided by love, excellence and integrity.
