Lawrie Fest Walk for Water

Terra Lawrie

Terra Lawrie

This Saturday, Matt and I will be walking three miles to raise money for the global water crisis.

Three miles is about the distance many women and children walk every single day just to collect water—often water that is unsafe to drink.

Right now, 2.1 billion people around the world lack access to safe water. In homes without it, women and children carry the responsibility of walking long distances, bringing back water that can lead to disease and ongoing hardship. It’s a cycle that impacts health, education, and entire communities.

We’re walking to support Water Mission, a Christian engineering organization dedicated to providing safe water solutions and sharing God’s love around the world.

Would you consider donating $55 to help provide safe water and hope? Matt and I both turn 55 this March, so your donation would be a meaningful birthday gift to us!

And if you’re local, we’d love for you to join us! We’ll be walking at Deer Grove West around 1pm this Saturday. Message me if you’d like to come along.

We walk, so others don't have to.
