25 Anniversary of Water Mission

Mark Baker

Mark Baker

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Water Mission! I am honored to be a part of the excellent work that takes place every day around the world to bring safe water to those in need!

Currently, I work in the Quality and Safety Department, which focuses on water quality, construction quality, and safety for our global programs. Having worked in the construction management industry for over 17 years, I have been using that previous experience to rethink our construction management at Water Mission. The past year has seen the creation and adoption of a Construction Field Guide and a 12-phase inspection process. These tools will help our teams raise and maintain high-quality standards in the construction of our water and sanitation projects! The longer the projects last, the more people that are served, and lives are changed!

Millions of women and children walk more than three miles to collect water each day for their families. Often, the water collected is unsafe to drink. But there is hope. Every gift of $50 provides one more person access to safe water and the opportunity to experience God's love. Together, we will walk to bring clean, safe water to 14,000 people in need around the world.

Please consider supporting our worldwide efforts!

We walk, so others don't have to.
