You also can register at the event, but your preferred T-shirt size may not be available. Register by Aug. 14 to be sure you get the size you want.
If you joined a team, your team captain will pick up T-shirts for everyone in your group before the walk and get them to you. If you registered as an individual, we’ll let you know where you can pick up your T-shirt before the event. Some participant materials are available on the resource page.
We’ve created easy-to-use materials just for you. These include social media images and resources. During and after the Walk, we encourage you to post photos of the Walk to your social media accounts.
When you post, tag Water Mission and Beaufort County Walk for Water using @water_mission, @BeaufortWalkforWater and #bftwalkforwater. And please invite your friends, family and colleagues to join you in participating!
While the Walk is an opportunity to help raise support for Water Mission’s efforts to put an end to the global water crisis, fundraising is not a requirement to participate. If you choose to partner with us in this way, you can find resources to raise funds here.

You’re encouraged to wear your Walk for Water T-shirt as we join together to fight the global water crisis. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. During the Walk, you’re encouraged to carry an empty bucket for approximately 1.5 miles. At about the halfway point, there will be a place to partially fill your bucket and complete the rest of the walk. Along the route, you’ll see signs with more information about Water Mission and the global water crisis.
You can still join in. Just go to the registration table and a volunteer will help you get started.
You can bring a small bucket if you choose to carry one. You’ll get a Water Mission sticker for your bucket when you get your T-shirt. We’ll also have a limited supply of buckets on site for those who don’t bring one.
