CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!! We've reached our $500 goal! Not only have we raised $500 for Water Mission, but Pace will also be donating a matching $500. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed and/or spread the word.

Update: Today is the LAST DAY to register! Thank you to everyone who has donated/registered so far. Please spread the word to make sure that everyone who would like to participate gets registered via the team page here or via the group email from Megan. Here's our numbers so far: 51 walkers registered and we have raised $385. With the Pace donations, that's a total of $2,045 that we've raised for Water Mission! Keep up the great work!

UPDATE: 1 Week away from the Walk! So far, we've got 40 walkers registered and have raised $310. With the Pace donations, that means that we've raised $1,620 for Water Mission. Thank you to everyone who has registered and/or donated so far. Keep supporting and promoting Water Mission to your coworkers, family, and friends!

Update: We are almost 1 week away from the walk! Here's our numbers so far: 27 Walkers registered = $675 Pace donates for registration $200 raised through individual donations x2 for Pace match = $400 raised! That's a grand total of $1,075 that we've raised so far for Water Mission! Thank you to everyone to has registered and/or donated so far. Please encourage your co-workers to register if they haven't already.

Great news everyone! We have confirmed that Pace will also be matching every donation that we raise, up to $500! That means that every dollar that you donate counts twice for Water Mission!

Meet Neema (photo above) Neema lives with her family in Gwandi, Tanzania. Like all young girls around the world, Neema loves being with her friends—they enjoy playing netball and mdako, a game that involves small stones.   But like most girls in rural African communities, much of Neema’s time is not spent doing what she enjoys—it’s spent walking for water.  Twice a day, she walks an hour round-trip to collect water from a rain catchment she calls “the pond.”  Neema's story is a reminder of why we walk!
