My Walk for Water Page

Nicole Smoak

Nicole Smoak

Welcome to my personal page!

Millions of women and children walk more than three miles to collect water each day for their families. Often, the water collected is unsafe to drink. But there is hope. This year, I will be walking to raise funds and awareness to help fight the global water crisis. Every gift of $50 provides one more person access to safe water and the opportunity to experience God's love. Together, we will walk to bring clean, safe water to 700 people in need around the world.

We walk, so others don't have to.

I feel really grateful to have had the chance to work on and see water projects in communities around the world - and also to be part of designing safe, reliable water systems right here in Tennessee through my job. Having that perspective on both sides has been really meaningful to me. Clean water is something many of us don’t think twice about, but I’ve seen firsthand how life-changing it is for communities that don’t have consistent access to it. My hope is that one day, safe and reliable water systems will be the norm everywhere. That’s a big reason why I care so much about supporting Water Mission and the work they’re doing around the world. The impact they have is real and lasting. Donations made through this page go directly toward safe water projects that Water Mission is designing - helping bring clean water to communities who need it most.
