Millions of women and children walk more than three miles to collect water each day for their families. Often, the water collected is unsafe to drink. Having been to villages in the Amazon of Peru seven times I have personally witnessed the need for safe, clean water. But there is hope. As a water professional I know there are ways we can help. This year, my wife, Phyllis and I will be walking to raise funds and awareness to help fight the global water crisis. Every gift of $50 provides one more person access to safe water and the opportunity to experience God's love. Together, we will walk to bring clean, safe water to 14,000 people in need around the world.
